Quintet Envy

Quintet Envy is a clarinet ensemble from Johns Creek, Georgia, with members: Casey Shen, Kevin Mo, Jacob Park, Colin Wong, and Alex Zhang. The quintet, which had its beginnings in middle school, was officially founded in 2021 through the members' shared love of playing clarinet and their goal of inspiring younger children to pursue music. Casey is a member of the Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra and Kevin, Jacob, and Alex are members of the Atlanta Youth Wind Symphony. Casey is a member of the Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra and Kevin and Alex are members of the Atlanta Youth Wind Symphony. Additionally, Casey, Alex, and Kevin all placed within the top two chairs of the 2022 GMEA All-State Band and Orchestra.

Under the direction of Jennifer Compton Lambert and Diane Hargreaves, the ensemble has performed at the 2023 Georgia Music Educators Association In-Service Conference and performs at various elementary and middle schools with the aim of encouraging students to discover the joy of making music.
